Fear, Judgment and the decissions that hold us back

Fear is a sneaky thing. It doesn’t always roar, sometimes it whispers. It shows up as hesitation, as overthinking, as that little voice telling us to play small, to wait, to “do it later.” And one of the ways fear shows up most is in the decisions we don’t make.

We’re often scared of being judged by others, by society, or even by ourselves. That fear can stop us from saying yes to opportunities, from taking risks, from choosing the life we really want. Those “safe” decisions feel comfortable, but in reality, they quietly limit us. They keep us from stepping into our full potential, from living our best life, and from having the joy, success, and fulfilment we deserve.

The truth is, those limiting decisions are usually rooted in beliefs we’ve carried for years. Beliefs like:

  • “I’m not ready yet.”

  • “What if they judge me?”

  • “I can’t do that; it’s too risky.”

Here’s the thing, these beliefs aren’t facts. They’re stories we’ve been telling ourselves. And the moment we start questioning them, we open the door to freedom.

When we remove limiting decisions and beliefs, incredible things happen. We start to see options we didn’t notice before. We take steps we were too scared to take. And slowly, life starts to shift in ways we never thought possible.

It’s not about ignoring fear. It’s about recognising it, understanding it, and choosing to move anyway. That’s where transformation lives. That’s where we truly start to live the life we’ve been dreaming of.

If you’re ready to start noticing the decisions fear has been holding you back from and to start creating a life you love, I’d love to guide you through it. Together, we can uncover those limiting beliefs and open the door to what’s possible for you.
